Wortel,Telur,Kopi

Seorang anak mengeluh pada ayahnya mengenai kehidupannya dan menanyakan mengapa hidup ini terasa begitu berat baginya. Ia tidak tahu bagaimana menghadapinya dan hampir menyerah. Ia sudah lelah untuk berjuang. Sepertinya setiap kali satu masalah selesai, timbul masalah baru.

Ayahnya, seorang koki, membawanya ke dapur. Ia mengisi 3 panci dengan air dan menaruhnya di atas api.

Setelah air di panci-panci tersebut mendidih. Ia menaruh wortel di dalam panci pertama, telur di panci kedua dan ia menaruh kopi bubuk di panci terakhir. Ia membiarkannya mendidih tanpa berkata-kata. Si anak membungkam dan menunggu dengan tidak sabar, memikirkan apa yang sedang dikerjakan sang ayah. Setelah 20 menit, sang ayah mematikan api.

Ia menyisihkan wortel dan menaruhnya di mangkuk, mengangkat telur dan meletakkannya di mangkuk yang lain, dan menuangkan kopi di mangkuk lainnya.

Lalu ia bertanya kepada anaknya, “Apa yang kau lihat, nak?”"Wortel, telur, dan kopi” jawab si anak. Ayahnya mengajaknya mendekat dan memintanya merasakan wortel itu. Ia melakukannya dan merasakan bahwa wortel itu terasa lunak. Ayahnya lalu memintanya mengambil telur dan memecahkannya. Setelah membuang kulitnya, ia mendapati sebuah telur rebus yang mengeras.

Terakhir, ayahnya memintanya untuk mencicipi kopi. Ia tersenyum ketika mencicipi kopi dengan aromanya yang khas. Setelah itu, si anak bertanya, “Apa arti semua ini, Ayah?”

Ayahnya menerangkan bahwa ketiganya telah menghadapi ‘kesulitan’ yang sama, melalui proses perebusan, tetapi masing-masing menunjukkan reaksi yang berbeda.

Wortel sebelum direbus kuat, keras dan sukar dipatahkan. Tetapi setelah direbus, wortel menjadi lembut dan lunak. Telur sebelumnya mudah pecah. Cangkang tipisnya melindungi isinya yang berupa cairan. Tetapi setelah direbus, isinya menjadi keras. Bubuk kopi mengalami perubahan yang unik. Setelah berada di dalam rebusan air, bubuk kopi merubah air tersebut.

“Kamu termasuk yang mana?,” tanya ayahnya. “Ketika kesulitan mendatangimu, bagaimana kau menghadapinya? Apakah kamu wortel, telur atau kopi?” Bagaimana dengan kamu? Apakah kamu adalah wortel yang kelihatannya keras, tapi dengan adanya penderitaan dan kesulitan, kamu menyerah, menjadi lunak dan kehilangan kekuatanmu.”

“Apakah kamu adalah telur, yang awalnya memiliki hati lembut? Dengan jiwa yang dinamis, namun setelah adanya kematian, patah hati, perceraian atau pemecatan maka hatimu menjadi keras dan kaku. Dari luar kelihatan sama, tetapi apakah kamu menjadi pahit dan keras dengan jiwa dan hati yang kaku?.”

“Ataukah kamu adalah bubuk kopi? Bubuk kopi merubah air panas, sesuatu yang menimbulkan kesakitan, untuk mencapai rasanya yang maksimal pada suhu 100 derajat Celcius. Ketika air mencapai suhu terpanas, kopi terasa semakin nikmat.”

“Jika kamu seperti bubuk kopi, ketika keadaan menjadi semakin buruk, kamu akan menjadi semakin baik dan membuat keadaan di sekitarmu juga membaik.”

The Princesses of Heart

The Princesses of Heart are maidens who possess no darkness in their hearts. Contrary to popular belief, they are not exactly the same as the Disney Princesses; Ariel and Mulan are not counted among them, while Alice is, and fellow princesses Pocahontas, Kida, Esmeralda, and Tiana have yet to appear in the series at all. The Princesses of Heart were kidnapped so that their hearts could be used to open the pathway to "Kingdom Hearts". The seventh is revealed to be Kairi, who regains her heart when Sora pierces himself with the Dark Keyblade. This completes the pathway to Kingdom Hearts but releases the hearts of the princesses which were used to create the Dark Keyblade. The six princesses remain at Hollow Bastion to hold the darkness at bay until the door to Kingdom Hearts is sealed, returning to their homeworlds soon after.

• Aurora, a romantic princess-to-be who came from the same world as Maleficent, the Enchanted Dominion, based on Sleeping Beauty. She, along with Snow White and Cinderella, are set to appear in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. She is the first princess to be captured by Maleficent as she begins her scheme of gathering the princesses. 
• Cinderella, a hardworking young woman who is the second captured princess from the Castle of Dreams. She, along with Snow White and Aurora, is set to appear in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. 
• Belle, is a strong-willed young woman who resides in Beast's Castle, caring for the Beast and healing the loneliness he endured. When Maleficent captures Belle as the third captive princess, the Beast made his way to Hollow Bastion to save her. Returning to her world, due to Xaldin's actions, Belle was almost forced to leave Beast.
• Snow White, a beautiful kindhearted princess who is the fourth captured princess from Dwarf Woodlands. She, along with Aurora and Cinderella, is set to appear in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. In the first game, if you do not complete Wonderland before Deep Jungle, Snow White will replace Alice in a scene in which the Disney Villians have captured her with the Heartless. As Ven meets Snow White, he attempts to protect her from the Queen who has Terra do her dirty work. When Aqua arrives at Dwarf Woodlands, Snow White had already eaten the poisoned apple and thus hadn't seen her. 
• Alice, a precocious young girl who has stumbled into Wonderland, and is also the first of only two princesses Sora and company meet before she was captured by Maleficent. She is the fifth princess to be captured while being put on trial by the Queen of Hearts. 
• Jasmine is a headstrong, beautiful, smart princess living in Agrabah, and the second of only two princesses that Sora encounters before she is taken to Hollow Bastion by Riku as the sixth captured princess of heart.

Sora is the main protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series, as well as a keyblade wielder. He is an upbeat teenager who may seem simple minded at times, but is very aware of the importance of his quest. He possesses a strong sense of justice and an unrelenting heart. At times he is impulsive and quick to anger when defending his friends, but he is always sincere about what he says and does. He is also best friends with Riku and Kairi

Sora is four during Kingdom Hearts Birth By sleep ,fourteen years old at the beginning of Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of memory, and fifteen during the events of Kingdom Hearts II. He lives on Destiny Island with his best friends Kairi and Riku, and all three of them dream to venture from Destiny Islands to find out what lies beyond. Sora is also the complete being of Sora's Heartless and Roxas, the source of Xion's memories, and the carrier of Ventus's heart. Sora's name is derived from the Japanese word for "sky".

Axel

Axel, the Flurry of Dancing Flames (おどる火の風, Odoru Hi no Kaze), is the Nobody of Lea, and is Rank VIII within Organization XIII. He wields fire and enchants his weapons, twin chakrams, with his pyrokinesis to unleash powerful rapid attacks. The Assassin Nobodies are under his control.

In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Axel was the trump card for the rest of the Organization as a double agent in Castle Oblivion  to keep track of Marluxia's plans. In Kingdom Hearts II, Axel betrayed the Organization for his friendship with Roxas and acted of his own accord to try and help Sora, though he originally wanted to turn Sora into a Heartless to get Roxas back. Axel appears in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days as a playable character and makes a cameo in a cutscene in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

Lea, his complete being's original name, was revealed in the Day 356 Secret Report and also mentioned by Saix. Lea had a connection to Saïx's original persona, Isa. Both Lea and Isa appear in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.
